IMPORTANT NOTICE
Talents Unlocked is a proposed reality music competition. This document is a working draft and is not final or binding until the production team confirms all unresolved production details, secures the advertised prizes and services, and publishes the final participation agreements.
The $10,000 cash prize and all other winner benefits are proposed benefits only. They must not be advertised as guaranteed until the production team has secured the necessary funding, confirmed the applicable providers, and finalized the governing agreements.
All bracketed provisions marked "[TO BE FINALIZED]" or "[TO BE ANNOUNCED]" must be completed before the final rules are published or contestants are accepted.
RULE 1 — PURPOSE AND MISSION
Talents Unlocked is intended to provide formerly incarcerated individuals with an opportunity to showcase their musical abilities, pursue their artistic goals, and demonstrate that a person’s past does not have to define their future.
The competition seeks to recognize musical talent, encourage personal growth, create opportunities for artistic development, and challenge the stigma faced by people returning to society after incarceration.
